This month we have focused our topics on preparing to hike Mt. TIMP in Utah. There are 2 ways to make it to the summit, so here's some info to help you decide which route is best for you.
Both Aspen Grove and Timpooneke are fantastic routes for summiting Mount Timpanogos, but they’re very different experiences.
Here’s a breakdown so you can decide which fits your style:

-
2. Timpooneke Trail

-

Quick Recommendation
-
Aspen Grove → Go for the waterfalls & lakes, but expect a steeper climb.
-
Timpooneke → Go for the wildlife & gentler grade, but a longer approach.
-
Pro Tip: Many hikers go up Timpooneke and down Aspen Grove (requires a car shuttle) for the best of both worlds.
